MVP Reportedly Had Last Match With WWE Last Monday Against Rey Mysterio

MVP has made it known this past week that his main goal in wrestling is to pay it forward behind the scenes in WWE. Specifically in a producer role.

After returning from WWE hiatus at the Royal Rumble and wrestling Rey Mysterio the next night on Monday Night Raw, speculation about MVP’s next WWE run and how long it would last ran rampant. MVP is now 46 and has stated numerous times that he planned on retiring at 45.

According to backstage producer Shane Helms on his Highway to Helms podcast, MVP’s last WWE match and possibly his last match ever happened at that very Raw.

Time will tell what the future holds for MVP, but it seems in some facet he will be involved in professional wrestling even if his in ring career has ended.
