It had been reported over the weekend that Independent Wrestling Star Kris Statlander had signed a developmental deal with WWE and that she was expected to report to the Performance Center in the next few weeks.
Since then Square Circle Sirens has posted an update saying that their initial report was incorrect and that she had not been signed by WWE.
Statlander was said to have had another tryout this past week, after her previous tryout in December.
Statlander is a graduate of the Create-A-Pro Wrestling Academy, run by Pat Buck and also Curt Hawkins. She has won several championships in the indies during the last three years. She has worked in Beyond Wrestling, WrestlePro, Superstars United and Women’s Wrestling Revolution.
