NXT aired its first two-hour show on USA this Wednesday while facing competition from AEW on TNT.
Following Adam Cole’s match against Matt Riddle, former NXT Champion, that was last seen on WWE SummerSlam, appeared to challenge Adam Cole and state that he is NXT once again.
Finn Balor will be the first regularly televised WWE star to transition to the NXT brand, from what it seems.
To close the show following the Undisputed Era’s tag team match against the Street Profits saw a closing scene of Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Riley holding their respective championships in the ring and Adam Cole was hoisting the NXT Championship on the ramp.
Tommaso Ciampa also made his return at the end of the show and showed his intentions of reclaiming “Goldy” his most prized possession that he never lost.
