Every week following SmackDown Live WWE airs 205 Live on the WWE Network. 205 Live is the company’s show which exclusively features WWE’s Cruiserweights, and often is said to feature some of the best wrestling out of all WWE’s programming despite often times struggling for viewers.
In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE’s 205 Live program was discussed and it was revealed that Adam Pearce is the one who is currently in charge of running the show. It was noted that his ability to form the matches featured on the program is obvious due to the time he has spent with Ring of Honor and other independent wrestling promotions.
It has been reported that WWE’s 205 Live program is potentially in jeopardy as rumors that the program could be cancelled later this year. However, it has been obvious that there has been a change in the quality of the 205 Live product with Pearce at the helm, and with SmackDown moving to Friday night’s on FOX in the fall there could end up being a lot of changes in store for 205 Live as well.
We will just have to wait and see how things pan out for WWE’s Cruiserweight show. We will keep you updated if we hear anything else concerning 205 Live.
