NXT UK is filming its television tapings and had a memorable night. A huge title match was announced for NXT TakeOver: New York and now the debut of a top female wrestler took place.
WWE has been trying to get Viper to sign with them for a while now. She competed in the May Young Classic as Piper Piven and impressed many. AEW was also trying to get her to sign with the company, but she ultimately went with WWE. It was a matter of time before we saw her debut since she made her appearance at NXT TakeOver: Blackpool.
Viper officially debuted for NXT UK on Saturday during their television tapings. She came out and cut a promo wearing an NXT UK t-shirt.
We will have to wait and see when she has her first match in NXT UK. She is definitely a valuable addition to the roster.
