WWE Superstar Reported To Be Completely Unhappy With His Current Position

Before coming to the WWE, Andrade “Cien” Almas went by the ring name La Sombra, and was one of the biggest lucha libre stars in the world. One of his best friends is fellow lucha star Rush, as the two have competed together and against each other all over the world.

Currently Rush is considered one of the most sought after talents in the business, grabbing titles all over Mexico and the world. Rush has drawn attention from American fans after making appearances for Ring of Honor and Major League Wrestling.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Rush and whether or not WWE is potentially interested in bringing in the international superstar. During the discussion Meltzer also revealed that a WWE Superstar, who happens to be Rush’s best friend, is not currently happy with his role in WWE.

“WWE? Oh yeah, of course, WWE would be interested in signing him. I mean you never say never, but one of his best friends is in WWE and he’s completely not happy. So I don’t think he’s in a rush to be unhappy you know he doesn’t need to be.”

“But I mean, if they offered him enough money he might do it. You watch that guy it’s like he’s commanding a lot of money because I know all the indie promotions here that wanna use him, he’s out of their price range. I don’t know what [MLW] is paying him, I haven’t asked, but I know what he’s been offered in turned down here and you know he ain’t hurting for money because he’d be getting tons of US dates at a really good rate if he wanted to work the US more and he clearly doesn’t, so. There’s your answer.”

It isn’t hard to figure out that Meltzer was referring to Andrade “Cien” Almas as the friend of Rush. However, Rush more than likely is friends with other members of the WWE roster, as others have came from lucha libre backgrounds, none of them are probably as close of friends as Rush is with Almas.

There have also been reports in the past stating that Almas was unhappy with his role and place in WWE, so this new report seems to line up with previous ones.
