WWE always wants to draw heat for certain superstars, so that fans would hate them more. Such is the case for Nia Jax. WWE has been trying to get more heat on her ever since she injured Becky Lynch.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the upcoming tag team match on RAW, where Ronda Rousey will team with Natalya and take on Nia Jax and Tamina. He mentioned how Natalya wasn’t turned heel due to her father passing. But it might happen now.
“Natalya at this point was supposed to turn on Ronda but they held it back because when Jim Neidhart died they figured that they shouldn’t turn Natalya, and agreed. They probably shouldn’t have turned Natalya at that time, that wouldn’t be good. But now I think they could do that and it’d be fine.”
From the looks of it, it’s definitely a possibility that Ronda Rousey will have one less friend in the company. We will have to wait and see how the heel turn will be handled.
