This week’s episode of Smackdown further heated up the rivalry between WWE Champion AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. During the contract signing for their No DQ Championship match, Joe didn’t show up and AJ was left puzzled. Even after being called out of General Manager Paige, he wasn’t there.
But then Joe suddenly came on the jumbotron, in an undisclosed location before revealing that he was at AJ Styles’ residence, shocking Styles. AJ angrily pleaded to Joe not to go any further, but as soon as Joe knocked on the door, the screen went black. Thus ending in a cliffhanger.
