Rey Mysterio Rumored To Have Signed A Two Year Deal With WWE

Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio rumored to sign a two-year contract with WWE.

Mysterio appeared at the 2018 Royal Rumble, and The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.

WWE officials want to sign Mysterio on a full-time basis, but Rey, 43, reportedly wants a part-time schedule. Mysterio has been traveling around the world working in independent wrestling promotions, and has recently been working with New Japan.

I spoke to sources earlier today, and they suggested to me that WWE and Mysterio have had issues with his schedule and the deal keeps delaying. The second reason on why WWE is unable to bring back Mysterio in the squared ring because WWE creative team is planning to use him as a talent enhancer.

The source also suggests that Rey Mysterio is aware that it could be his last time working for the WWE, so he wants to leave a great legacy behind for the Latino wrestlers. He does not want to be used as talent enhancer during his last days of wrestling.

Rey Mysterio wants to encourage young Latino wrestlers to keep continuing Mask Tradition, and he wants to break the myth that the mask is keeping them from becoming successful in the wrestling industry. Rey Mysterio wants to use his WWE run to create memorable moments in the history, and he wants to add great value to the Latino wrestling industry.

WWE is wanting to add Rey Mysterio in time for their SummerSlam pay-per-view. However our source has told me that WWE has offered a new improvised contract to Mysterio.
