Title Match For Royal Rumble No Longer Taking Place

As reported earlier, it was announced on WWE Main Event that Becky Lynch will challenging Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Title at Royal Rumble.

However, it seems that the match won’t be happening anymore. Former Smackdown General Manager Paige announced on Twitter that the match was called off.

Soooo I tried to make one last match before my time as #SDLive GM came to end…but unfortunately @BeckyLynchWWE vs. @WWEAsuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship is NOT official for #RoyalRumble. #Oops

It is unknown who Asuka will be facing for her Smackdown Women’s title as of yet. We will get to know as we get closer to the Royal Rumble.
