  • AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Tops Last Year’s Attendance

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Tops Last Year’s Attendance

All Elite Wrestling’s flagship spring pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, is already showing strong momentum ahead of its 2026 edition. According to data from WrestleTix, the event has distributed 11,288 tickets as of this writing. With how AEW tickets move in the last week leading up to show time, it would be safe to assume that this event will sell out.

This year’s show is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with a start time of 7:00 p.m. ET. It marks AEW’s first Double or Nothing event held within New York City’s five boroughs, continuing the company’s expansion into major markets.

The current ticket distribution figure already surpasses the 2025 event, which drew approximately 8,200 fans in Glendale, Arizona. This year-over-year increase signals notable growth for the promotion’s marquee event, particularly as it heads into a new venue and market.

With over 11,000 tickets now distributed, Double or Nothing 2026 is shaping up to be one of AEW’s most successful editions of the event to date. All data referenced in this report is provided by WrestleTix, which compiles ticket distribution estimates using venue maps and sales tracking.

  • Pro Wrestler Sareee Hits Jackpot On Slot Machine In Las Vegas

Pro Wrestler Sareee Hits Jackpot On Slot Machine In Las Vegas

WrestleMania 42 was live in Las Vegas, Nevada this past weekend. Not only was there a lot of wrestling going on, but probably a lot of gambling, too.

Las Vegas is known for its casinos and night life, making it one of the best or worst places, depending on if you win or not. For former WWE NXT wrestler Sareee, it was the best time for her. She revealed that while she was actually at the airport, she tried her luck on a slot machine, and it was certainly beginners luck, as she hit big. She posted a photo of the win and captioned it “Beginners luck! I was so surprised!”

    https://x.com/sareee_official/status/2046853161890271435?s=46

While Sareee waited for her airplane back to Japan after a weekend filled with wrestling and meeting fans, she hit a jackpot of $6,347.00 on a slot machine. This converts to 1,010,794.66 Japanese Yen. What a huge win!

Congrats to Sareee. It seems like beginners luck is really real!

  • AEW Dynamite Preview 4/22, World Championship Match Set

AEW Dynamite Preview 4/22, World Championship Match Set

AEW Dynamite is live tonight on TBS at 8PM ET. The show will be held at The Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon and is headlined by an AEW World Championship Match.

Last week, Darby Allin shocked the world and defeated MJF in very quick fashion to become the new AEW World Championship in his hometown of Seattle. Now, there’s no rest for the new champion as he will defend his gold against Tommaso Ciampa.

Ciampa made it very clear last week that he was gunning for the AEW World Championship, and luckily for him, he doesn’t have to wait long. The two will clash tonight.

Plus, we’re also set to hear from Darby Allin, as well. It’ll be interesting to see what he has to say coming off of the biggest win of his career.

    https://x.com/aew/status/2046773483166679051?s=46

Elsewhere on the show, we will see Will Ospreay go head-to-head against former friend Mark Davis. This comes after Mark Davis laid out Will Ospreay last week with a devastating pile-driver just moments after he beat Mark’s Don Callis Family stablemate in Hechicero. Now, Ospreay can try for some payback.

Lastly, in the AEW women’s division, something is cooking up with Hikaru Shida. But, what is it? Mina Shirakawa accused Shida of being the person who attacked Toni Storm and warns Kris Statlander to not trust Hikaru. We don’t know if that’s true or not, but, Shida didn’t take too kindly to the accusations and the two will battle tonight.

More matches will be announced throughout the day by AEW. Stay tuned for more AEW Dynamite news and results during tonight’s event.

  • Giovanni Vinci Speaks On WWE Release, Was And Wasn’t Surprised

Giovanni Vinci Speaks On WWE Release, Was And Wasn’t Surprised

Giovanni Vinci was released from WWE over a year ago. Since then, he’s been pretty quiet as it pertains to wrestling. He hasn’t shown up anywhere, and while he’s active on social media, it’s mostly fitness content.
    Now, the former WWE star sat down for an interview with Chris Van Vliet where he as asked about his WWE release and if the call came as a surprise. For him, it was a surprise, but it also was not. He explained;
“I was and I wasn’t because, I mean, during the summer of the year previous, I wasn’t on TV, but I knew there was a plan to come back eventually. We did those vignettes and everything, but that didn’t last long, unfortunately. So after that, I noticed when some thoughts started to creep in. I tried to focus on the positive, and I always had high hopes. Like, for example, when the new year started, I know SmackDown went from two hours to three hours, and I was told, you know, there’s a quote from one of the producers, we have all the real estate in the world, there’s just not enough land. Basically, you have all the great wrestlers, there’s just not enough time on the show. So when SmackDown went to three hours, I thought, well, maybe now it’s gonna happen, maybe here’s the chance, and whatever. Then, yeah, I wasn’t needed for TV for a couple of weeks. You don’t want to hear that call. But when it happened, I can’t say that I was really surprised at it. So it was kind of a weird mix of feelings.”
Later on in the interview, Vinci said he still wants to wrestle, but he’s waiting for the right opportunity. You can see the full interview below.
  • Kevin Nash Rips WWE Hall Of Fame Catering Situation

Kevin Nash Rips WWE Hall Of Fame Catering Situation

Kevin Nash has some thoughts on WWE’s catering, or lack-thereof at the WWE Hall Of Fame this past Friday.

On the most recent episode of Kliq This, WWE legend Kevin Nash spoke about the logistical hurdles of the Hall of Fame ceremony. Nash noted that while the production was “massive,” the hospitality for the legends was basically nonexistent.

Nash was there to induct the latest celebrity wing Hall Of Famer in Dennis Rodman, who went into the 2026 class. For many fans, they may not know that WWE has rehearsals for the event, which Kevin Nash noted he needed to show up at three o’clock until the end, which was last midnight. Worst part? There wasn’t much catering.

“Be there at three o’clock, leave at midnight,” Nash stated. “Absolutely not a fcking bit of food available. Some bags of chips, a couple of fcking bananas… I asked the head of f*cking talent relations—and I won’t say his name—I asked him, ‘Is there food?’ He said the matches’ cards are catered, but [not the Hall of Fame].”

Nash detailed a lot more about the Hall Of Fame and the day that occurred. You can watch the full episode below.

Two Major CMLL Stars Dealing with Injuries

Bad news for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre as two of their top roster members are currently dealing with injuries.

One of them is the current CMLL Women’s World Champion, Persephone. “La Diosa” was part of two matches during Wrestlemania Week, the first occurred on April 16th in the CMLL at Palms Slam Fest where she successfully defended her CMLL Championship against Tessa Blanchard. The next day, Friday April 17th, she took part of the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s (MLP) event, Multiverse. She was part of a four-way match for the MLP Canadian Women’s Championship against a surprising last minute addition Killer Kelly, Shotzi Blackheart and the defending champion, Gisele Shaw, where she was unsuccessful on capturing the championship after Shaw stole the pinfall after Persephone performed her version of the Razor’s Edge over Killer Kelly.

On Monday, April 20th, Persephone was scheduled to compete in a show in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. La Diosa came out to a great ovation but revealed that unfortunately, she suffered an injury during one of his matches in Las Vegas as she showed a walking boot to a negative reception. Persephone committed to the event and did a Meet & Greet at the event with fans without giving a specific time out due to the injury.

Last night, during a CMLL Lunes Clasico show, Mistico teamed up with Esfinge to take on long time rival Volador Jr and Ultimo Guerrero in the main event on Arena Puebla in a two-out of-three falls match. During the middle of the third and final fall, Mistico asked the doctor and referee to stop the match as he started limping near the end of the contest. Over the last couple weeks, fans on social media have mentioned that “El Principe de Plata y Oro” has been working slower than usual, including his performance in MLP Multiverse where he teamed up with Amazing Red and Mascara Dorada in a trios contest against The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed).
