WWE has confirmed that Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is slated to appear on next week’s episode of NXT.
He’ll do so to host a face-to-face meeting between NXT Champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly. This will come just days before they square off for the NXT Title at the NXT TakeOver: 31 event.
WWE taped this episode of NXT last week, but various changes had to be made due to an outbreak of talents testing positive for COVID-19.
Michaels’ commented on the appearance by writing the following on Twitter:
“Everyone excited about #NXTTakeOver I couldn’t miss the fun!!! #WWENXT.”
