Vayner Sports, founded by brothers Gary and AJ Vaynerchuk in 2009, entered the MMA world earlier this summer and it would seem as if they have signed their first UFC Heavyweight Champion. Stipe Miocic confirmed yesterday that he has signed with the company via Instagram
Even with a respectable record of 20-3 and the 4th most knockout finishes in the history of UFC Heavyweights, Miocic had not been a household name to MMA fans until his recent trilogy with newly retired Daniel Cormier. Hopefully with this signing he can be marketed in and out of the octagon a bit more and get the recognition he deserves.
Who knows, maybe this will get his name first in the conversation if former UFC and WWE star Brock Lesnar decides to return to combat sports?
Vayner Sports also represents a stable of other UFC fighters such as Tony Ferguson and Chris Wiedman
