Tito Ortiz – “WWE Is What I Want To Do”, Releases Video Of His Training

Tito Ortiz recently uploaded a video chronicling his training at the WWE Performance Center. He spent 2 weeks in Orlando training, though the video didn’t show any of it because he wanted to keep it “under wraps,” but he did reveal as much as he could.

Ortiz revealed that Cain Velasquez was there throughout his training, so this video is at least a few months old but potentially older, as the WWE Performance Center can be seen to be fully operational. This has obviously not been the case since the COVID19 pandemic hit America.

Ortiz says in the video that WWE is “no joke at all.” He went on to explain how grinding it is, but that he learned quickly. He had 17 moves under his belt within a few days and he gave full credit to the great Norman Smiley for helping him train. He showed up to the WWE Performance Center at 9AM dreaaed in a full suit because he was “going to work.” Tito then changed into workout gear and took bumps all day long. He said “I love it,” as he showed off some nasty bruises that he picked up on the way.

Ortiz had a lot of good things to say about his brief time spent at the WWE Performance Center. He said “it’s what I wanna do,” that he “felt like a little kid again in training” and “I fell in love with something that I wanna do.” He went on to reveal how great NXT’s Velveteen Dream was to work with as they spent a few training sessions together.
