Potential Reason For WWE Moving The Miz To RAW During Superstar Shake-Up

The first new addition to the RAW roster last night during the Superstar Shake-Up was The Miz, as he appeared during the opening segment to attack Shane McMahon in the ring.

The Miz’s move to RAW last night was discussed on the latest episode of Figure Four Daily, and Bryan Alvarez shed some light on what was suggested to him as a potential reason for moving the A-Lister over to the red brand. He stated that it was suggested to him by somebody inside the company that the reason WWE decided to move The Miz to RAW was because the company needed an extra day to help promote Miz & Mrs. after the ratings for the season premiere did not do good numbers.

Alvarez said:

“I believe, I don’t know this for sure, but one person in the company did suggest this to me. The reason The Miz is now on RAW is because that gives them an extra day to plug Miz & Mrs. which apparently the debut number was not good. It was lower than I believe the lowest number from season one and that was the debut of season two and so I guess if Miz is on RAW then they got an extra day to promote Miz & Mrs. and I guess they figure that maybe that’ll help bring up the rating, so there you go.”

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about reasoning behind any of the moves made during this years Superstar Shake-Up.
