WWE talent may be more free to appear on podcasts and other appearances, but they still have to have the appearance approved by WWE.
Fightful Select provided an update on the matter on Wednesday.
While WWE is much more relaxed about the nature of podcasts and outside projects from their talent, we’re told that it is requested that they’re pitched to WWE before gaining approval.

While this is still positive news for the talent in the company, it is unlikely that there is going to be free reign for many WWE superstars. We will have to wait and see if there is any surprising appearances approved in the coming months.
