While fans have more or less embraced Dunne as Butch thanks to his work as part of the Brawling Brutes, many still want to see him back as The Bruiserweight. With Triple H in charge of WWE Creative, fans wondered if that was ever going to happen.
Pete Dunne took to Twitter and uploaded an old photo of himself as his previous gimmick while holding the NXT UK Championship. His caption more or less teased that he plans on bringing back his old gimmick.
It remains to be seen whether WWE will end up bringing back Pete Dunne’s old gimmick, as fans would love to see the Bruiserweight make his triumphant return to WWE television.
