UFC Announces ‘Freedom 250’ White House Main Card
Freedom 250 is on!
UFC White House
Tonight at UFC 326, Dana White delivered as promised and announced the main card for the UFC event taking place at The White House. Yes, the presidential White House! We now know that the event will officially be called ‘UFC Freedom 250’ and will be held Sunday, June 14 at 8PM ET on Paramount+. A Sunday is very rare for UFC, but it’s on.
Ilia Topuria will be defending his lightweight championship against Justin Gaethje in the main event, while a interim title is set for the co-main, when Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira battle it out for the interim heavyweight championship! Elsewhere down the card we see some big fights, including; Sean O’Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi, Michael Chandler vs. Mauricio Ruffy, Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukus, and Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia.
There’s no word yet on a preliminary card, but the main card is a big one. Dana White did mention that there would’ve been another main card fight, but whatever it was, fell off last night. Many fans suggest it may’ve been a Jon Jones fight, since he was very adamant about being on this card.
