Thunder Rosa: Persephone Is So Talented, This Is Just the Tip of the Iceberg For Her in All Elite Wrestling

Thunder Rosa is excited to see what is next for Persephone.

While speaking with KVIA ABC 7, Thunder Rosa mentioned the recent signing that All Elite Wrestling made when they brought in Persephone, who also wrestles for CMLL. The 24-year-old signed a dual contract and has been picking up wins on ROH on HonorClub in the last couple of weeks.

“Off the air, we mentioned Persephone who is signed with CMLL and AEW. [She is] a local here from El Paso, someone who was going with the name of Black Widow. She actually wrestled for me a couple years ago when I had Mission Pro Wrestling. I just see her grow and see how loved she is in Mexico and now here with some of the pay-per-views that she’s done to show her talent. She’s so talented. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I’m excited to see where she’s going.”

Rosa recently challenged Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship but came up short in her attempt to dethrone the Toxic Spider, who will now defend the gold against Kris Statlander at Revolution in a two-out-of-three falls match.
