Leon is still champion, but he isn’t leaving happy.
TNA IMPACT
Leon Slater defended his TNA X-Division Championship in the main event match of tonight’s IMPACT episode against Nic Nemeth. Earlier on in the show, Leon got some advice backstage from Matt and Jeff Hardy, whom are very familiar with Nic.
Leon used that advice and brought a big fight to Nemeth, and even gave a little shout out to newly announced WWE Hall Of Famer, AJ Styles, and hit Nemeth with the Styles-Clash during the match. In the end, Leon picked up the win with his Swanton 450 finisher, but was immediately attacked by Eric Young, who ended up pile-driving Slater on the floor and let it be known that he’s coming for his gold.
