WWF Enhancement
A lot of the times, before your favorite superstars are, well, superstars, they are enhancement talent that get a look and do a job for WWE well before signing. Well, in the 90’s, this was the case for Justin Credible, who later found fame in ECW. But for him, he had the unfortunate job of taking on Samu and Fatu of the Headshrinkers, two absolute monsters.
A GIF was posted on X, showing the Samoans doing what seemingly was a back drop to Justin, but instead, he landed directly on his head. This comes from a match on the 7/12/93 episode of RAW when The Hesdshrinkers took on PJ Walker (Justin) and Aaron Ferguson. Justin caught wind of the tweet and shared a story about how all he remembers is going to the ring, then waking up at his mom’s house in a different state, noting there was no concussion protocol at that time.
All I remember is going to the ring. Then waking up at my mother’s house in the morning, not knowing how I got from New York City to Connecticut no concussion protocol at that time lol
Dangerous and scary times. Luckily, concussions are looked at way more serious today and protocol is top notch. Very terrifying situation.
