The Don Callis Takeover
Don Callis now has more gold in his faction than anyone else with a total of five titles following tonight’s AEW Dynamite. To kick off the show, Kevin Knight had a shot against MJF for the AEW title, but didn’t pick up the win. Later on, Hangman Adam Page had a squash match against a local talent and then cut a promo back and forth with MJF. Then, Don Callis’ gang of men attacked one third of the Trios champions, Hangman, before Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey made the save.
Don Callis mentioned from the ramp that Hangman, Bailey and Knight said they’d be winning to defend their gold where ever and whenever, so, Callis wants a trios title match in the main event of tonight’s show, of course, JetSetRodeo don’t back down from a challenge and it was on.
Adam Page, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight defended their Trios gold against Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis and Okada. Okada is currently the International Champion, while Fletcher is the TNT champion, and now, after defeating JetSetRodeo, the Don Callis Family hold the AEW Trios Titles!.. And they did have a little help from MJF, when he attacked Hangman.
