Paul Heyman: We’re Always Prepared to Roll with the Punches When It Comes to Injuries in The WWE
Paul Heyman discusses recent injuries.
Earlier this year, the storyline between Bron Breakker, Adam Pearce, and a mystery masked man that would later on be revealed to be former leader of the Vision, Seth Rollins, would face a sudden halt when Breakker suffered a hernia injury that would require surgery. Recently, Bronson Reed also suffered a brutal injury, forcing him to be on the sidelines as well.
While speaking with Catch Club, Paul Heyman spoke about how no matter how serious the injuries are, those like Breakker and Reed will come back stronger than ever and the WWE is prepared for this.
“You’re rolling with the punches, bro. Of course you’re gonna get hurt. This ain’t ballet. So, you know, injuries are expected and it’s never gonna happen at the most convenient time. Injuries are gonna happen at the one moment where you don’t want an injury to happen, where, oh my God, if there’s ever a moment for an injury to happen, please don’t let it be this moment. That’s the moment that it’s going to happen. We’re always prepared to roll with the punches, and Bron Breakker will be back, and when he’s back, he’s going to be better than ever.”
Rollins returned at the 2026 Elimination Chamber where he would crush Logan Paul with a Curb Stomp before allowing him to be pinned by Cody Rhodes, the last man Rollins beat while also suffering an injury that would leave him out of action for the last couple of months.
