Jon Jones Confirms He Is in Negotiations with UFC For White House Card on June 14

Jonny Bones could be back in the octagon real soon.

As the UFC prepares for their massive opportunity to have their fighters compete in front of the whole world at the White House, there is now confirmation from a former two-division UFC champion who is in talks to compete at this historic card.

In the video above from Ariel Helwani who first reported that Jones was in talks with the UFC for his return from retirement, Jones says the following:

“I’m in negotiations with the UFC about this White House thing as well. I’m a very, very, very proud American, and I cannot wait to represent one more time, so we’ll see what happens.”

This past week, the UFC announced Alex Pereira would be vacating the Light Heavyweight Championship, and with the return of Jones ahead of schedule, there could be talks of Pereira vs. Jones as the headliner for the White House card in June.
