Raw got heated!
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns returned to WWE RAW tonight in Indianapolis but was quickly interrupted by his opponent at Wrestlemania, the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. They went toe to toe on the mic just like last time, but CM Punk ended things with a bang.
After the two traded verbal jabs back and forth, Roman told Punk that he was going to beat him at WrestleMania and then send him on a retirement tour before sending him to train students down at NXT. This struck a chord with Punk, who said Roman could never retire him. He then went on to say he just won’t beat Roman at Wrestlemania, he’s going to bury him. But, he won’t be alone, because he’s going to bury him next to his father. This was the end note of RAW, but left Roman visibly pissed off.
“You’re gonna retire me?? Brother, you just made the list. I’m not just going to beat you at Wrestlemania.. I’m going to Bury you! And you won’t be alone anymore.. because I’m going to bury you next to your father!” -CM Punk 😳 Holy shit #WWERAW
Roman Reigns’ father is the legendary Sika. The WWE Hall Of Famer passed away in June of 2024.
