wXw Germany has announced on social media that Alan Angels will be replacing Ricky Sosa in the 2026 16 Carat Gold Tournament. It was revealed yesterday that Sosa would not be competing due to a major last minute career opportunity. Fightful Select followed up and reported that Sosa would be attending the TNA tapings in Atlanta, Georgia next month.
