Nicolth Hernandez-Lucero Update
About two weeks go, indie wrestler Nicolth Hernandez-Lucero was detained by ICE while driving home. Her husband was on the phone with her while the altercation went down and recorded the whole thing, the followed up by setting up a gofundme to help her out. AEW’s Kris Statlander and WWE’s Becky Lynch we’re amongst the donations, as well as Brody King and Nicolth’s trainer, WWE legend, Gangrel.
Now, her husband provided an update on her status on the gofundme page; “We made some progress! Today she was granted bond allowing us to hopefully get her out tomorrow or the following day.
The battle is just beginning though. Now we need to work hard together to get the case dropped and make our way towards our marriage hearing to finally pave her pathway to full citizenship! Hopefully somewhere in between that time we can put our wedding ceremony back together (we are already legally married) and celebrate it with as many of you as we can.
We simply cannot express in words how grateful we are for each and every one of you. I am still working hard to spread awareness not just for her but many others. Nobody should be afraid to leave their house and hopefully what we’re sharing can lead to change that allows us all to return to some sense of normalcy and safety.
Once again, dearly, sincerely with every last ounce of my heart, I say thank you to each and everyone one of you. Without you we would not be where we are today. Your words, your thoughts, your prayers, your donations, every single one of them means the world to us”
