ZaRuca is no longer fine.
After over a year as one of the top acts on NXT, the tag team of Sol Ruca and Zaria has finally come to an end on the February 24th edition of NXT.
After months of teasing, Zaria finally attacked Sol Ruca before the latter’s NXT Women’s title bout with Jacy Jayne, resulting in Ruca losing to the champion in very quick fashion.
While it’s sad to see the team finally break up, it was the right time. Even though it seemed like a random pairing back when they joined forces in December 2024, it was brilliant pairing that elevated both Ruca and Zaria greatly. Know all that’s left is for the two to face off.
With Ruca rumored to be called up soon, it seems likely that this will be her last program in NXT. For Zaria, it’s the chance to build her into a monster heel.
It was fun while it lasted.
