Two TNA champions will team up to take on the Nemeth Brothers, as Mike Santana and Leon Slater will partner up again.
During Thursday Night’s iMPACT! broadcast, Mike Santana was out for a promo talking about Steve Maclin. He trashed Maclin for attacking him while he had his back turned again. Santana warns Steve about knocking on deaths door, and says he’s going to drop his “bitch ass.” He said he wanted to speak to Leon Slater now. Leon came out.
Santana apologized for leaving Leon stranded in the match, and also congratulated him for pinning a former world champion – Nic Nemeth.
This leads to the Nemeth brothers coming out, and trying to do a tag match right now. “The Suit” Daria Rae interrupts the segment before a match can happen and says no. She tells them that the wrestlers don’t make – management does – and it’s not happening right now. Daria makes the match and says “maybe for next week.”
A big tag team match has been made official for next week, with Frankie Kazarian on commentary.
