Music star Bad Bunny has been the talk of the sports and entertainment landscape lately after performing the halftime show for the SuperBowl.
Speaking to Sportshadow on February 15, 2026, Marella was asked directly whether he would welcome Bad Bunny to TNA. His answer was immediate and enthusiastic.
“Yes, of course he can come to TNA. That would bring a lot of eyes to the company and the product.”
Marella made it clear that star power like Bad Bunny’s could help wrestling regain that mainstream appeal.
“You want wrestling to become mainstream again. You want it to be like when I was a kid—everybody knew Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Jimmy Hart, Roddy Piper. Every kid knew those guys. I don’t know if every kid in school knows our roster now, but I’d like to get to that level.”

Bunny has previously worked a match or two for WWE, and will likely be involved again as the company heads to Puerto Rico in May for the Backlash PLE.
