Seth Rollins Says Losing WWE Championship to Dean Ambrose at 2016 Money in The Bank Is His Favorite Loss
Seth Rollins takes us back to 2016.
In 2016, Seth Rollins was ready to redesign, rebuild, and reclaim the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns at the 2016 Money in the Bank PPV.
This would end up being the result, but he would only hold it for a few moments before being cashed in on by Dean Ambrose, who would go on to become the new WWE Champion minutes later.
“The night Ambrose cashed in Money In The Bank, and the title went from Roman to me to Jon all in the span of like 10 minutes. Very nice to give someone you love a moment like that. “I’d say that one and probably the WrestleMania match with Claudio, where he beat me.” Rollins said to GQ.
Rollins would go on to challenge for the WWE Universal Championship, lose to Finn Balor, and then was betrayed by Triple H when Kevin Owens was crowned the new champion not too long after.
