Matt Hardy: Jeff And I Are in Constant Negotiations with WWE About Doing Some More Stuff With Them

Matt Hardy is excited to continue working with WWE.

While speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro in an exclusive interview, the Hardy’s spoke about a number of topics, including their talks with WWE that they have had as part of the partnership between both TNA and WWE/NXT.

Matt spoke about their negotiations they have had over the last couple of months, while also still being able to perform at their best in their recent run with TNA as they enter year 21 in the pro wrestling world.

“We’re in constant negotiations with WWE about doing some more stuff. We will do more with them. It was very important to us to stay at TNA as opposed to becoming a WWE full-time act [again]. In TNA, we’re going to be put in a position to succeed, and we can contribute, and we can help the company grow and be better. The relationship with WWE has been great. Anytime we’ve interacted with Shawn Michaels, he was absolutely awesome – Triple H, whoever, we’ve got along with everybody really good. I think you’re going to see some more cool Hardy Boyz moments in WWE before it’s all said and done in 2026.” Matt Hardy said to Metro.

Matt and Jeff also spoke about how the introduction of women’s Tag Team Championships have inspired Jeff’s daughters to potentially step into the ring, while Matt knows his kids are destined to continue the legacy of the Hardy’s.
