Matt & Jeff Hardy have been back in TNA since the middle of 2024, with Matt showing up in April and Jeff returning in June, and both behind the resurgence of TNA over the past year and a half. The two are also a big part of TNA landing AMC as a new media partner.
Both men have boasted, and continue to do so, about how great the TNA locker room is; everybody gets along and has a common goal of making themselves and the promotion better.
While speaking on the Rivet City podcast, Matt Hardy explained that the pair ‘kind of’ fell into the roles of being the TNA locker room leaders.
“Yeah, I mean, I think we’ve just kind of fallen into those roles, and I think we’re cool with it. There’s guys who will ask us, whether they work with us or in a match before, ‘so, hey, did you guys get to see any of my match? Is there anything I can do that would be different or better?’ Or if we’re working with them, ‘oh, what are your critiques? How can I be better? What can I do differently? What can I do to improve?’ It is cool that people look at us to do that, and we do. We really have the best intentions on trying to help and and the better we can build up the entire roster the better it is for the whole show and the whole whole brand.”

Matt & Jeff are the current TNA Tag Team champions, having captured the titles for the fourth time at the Slammiversary PPV back in July of 2025. The two take pride in leading this locker room into a new era on AMC, which comes with a whole new platform and much more exposure.
