Shots fired for one of the most popular AEW Tag Teams ever.
Fightful Select have informed that Private Party are still part of All Elite Wrestling after months of speculation on what would their next move be after losing the AEW Tag Team Championships to The Hurt Syndicate.
“Last year, Private Party had WWE interest amid rumors that their contract was coming up. Since then, the only real updates that we’d heard were that their contracts may not have matched up exactly, and that they had been backstage at some recent AEW events.
Over the last week, we’ve asked about the status of Private Party with a “mystery” team. We didn’t get a specific answer on if they are the mystery team on Dynamite competing for a title shot. However, we were told that Private Party firmly remains under AEW contract, and that they’re still with the company.
When asking a number of sources about Private Party, everyone that we spoke to said that we could expect to see them in AEW before we would WWE.”
