AJ Styles Update

AJ Styles’ WWE in-ring career came to a close at the Royal Rumble in Riyadh on January 31st as he lost to Gunther. PW Insider provided a bit of an update on where things currently stand with Styles. Styles made the decision to end his WWE Career where it all began 10 years after his debut at the Royal Rumble.

In addition, Styles and WWE are still discussing his future with the company but PW Insider hasn’t heard of a deal being reached as of now.

AJ Styles and WWE had discussed a new deal, but as the Royal Rumble got closer and that was not locked in, the decision was made to go with the Gunther match. The two sides are still discussing AJ’s future with the company, but a new deal has not been heard about.
