New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Drilla Moloney suffered a right triceps injury on February 3rd at a live event in Iwaki, Fukushima.
Moloney is expected to work through the injury on the NJPW Road to The New Beginning tour with close medical supervision.
Below is the full press release from NJPW regarding Drilla Moloney:
“Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
On February 3’s live event in Iwaki, Fukushima, Drilla Moloney sustained an injury to his right triceps.
At his personal request, and after consultation with medical staff, Moloney will compete in all remaining matches during the Road to The New Beginning tour as scheduled. Moloney will continue to be closely monitored by trainers and ring doctors.
NJPW wishes Moloney a speedy recovery, and encourages fans to continue lending him their support.”
