Joe Hendry On Bringing The NXT Championship To Another Level: From The Business Aspect Of Things, I’m Super Confident That I Can Add Value To NXT

Newly crowned NXT Champion Joe Hendry was the latest guest on Busted Open After Dark last night with Bully Ray. Bully Ray asked Joe Hendry if he thinks he can bring the NXT Championship to another level.

Below is what Hendry had to say regarding elevating the NXT Championship to another level:

“I absolutely do. And the thing about that humility is, when you can allow that ego to go and you can be humble, you can also start to deal in facts. And that’s what I do now. I deal in facts and figures. So, when I get advertised for a live event, I arrive at the live event and ask what the draw is and what it was before. When I did my promo, what did the draw go up by? I now know the draw when I do a promo. If that starts to dip, well we got to change something up. So, I deal with facts and figures when it comes to me being on the show. I learned that from John Cena from talking to him. I learned that the top guys like John Cena and CM Punk are about facts and figures. They’re about statistics. They’re about the numbers. At the end of the day, it’s the wrestling business. From the business aspect of things, I’m super confident that I can add value to NXT.”
