Diego Lopes Reveals He Broke Both Feet In UFC 325 Clash
Diego is in bad shape, but good spirits.

UFC 325 was live Saturday night from Sydney, Australia. In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski successfully defended his UFC Featherweight Championship against Diego Lopes in a bout that went the full 25 minutes. Not only did Diego lose on the night, he was injured as well.
Following the clash, Diego took to instagram to reveal that he was sent to the hospital for his feet an revealed that they are both broken. Diego was throwing lost of kicks in the fight, some of which were bouncing off the elbows of Volkanovski, as that is possibly what could’ve did the most damage. Diego showed off a video of his very, very swollen feet.

🚨 Diego Lopes provides an update on his foot injury: “Everything is fine. The initial diagnosis at arena was that I might have broken both feet. We went to the hospital, they ran tests, and everything was fine. Just some fractures in both feet, but surgery isn’t necessary.
Despite the loss, Lopes remained in good spirits and even thanked Alex for the fight, acknowledging his greatness.
