AJ Styles Loses At Royal Rumble
Tonight, AJ Styles battled Gunther at the Royal Rumble and put his career on the line. In what was a hard-hitting match, AJ got a nasty gash on his arm early on, but he continued to fight until the bitter end. He almost had the match won multiple times, but it was a sleeper hold from Gunther that choked AJ Styles out, and ended his WWE career.
Gunther has choked out and defeated AJ Styles. That’s it. #RoyalRumble
AJ Styles debuted at the Royal Rumble in 2016, and retired 10 years later at the Royal Rumble. In his WWE tenure, AJ Styles became a grand-slam champion, winning every title the company had to offer. Following the match, AJ Styles teased laying his gloves in the ring, but then put them back on and taunted to the crowd. Thank you, AJ.
