Dan Hooker vs. Benoit Saint-Denis co-headlines UFC 325 this Saturday night in Sydney Australia, and it’s going to be a war, if Dan Hooker can make it that. Today, Dan was interviewed following the ceremonial weigh-ins with his daughter by his side. When being interviewed, the final question went to his daughter, where she was asked what round her dad wins in, to which of course she said the first. While that would be great for them, Dan is looking for a war. He jumped in on the question to let everyone know.
”It’s what we’ve agreed, no, I like three. I’d like to put on a little bit of a show for the fans. They want to see carnage, I actually feel like getting in a fight. I’ve been telling the Mrs., I said “babe, everything’s pissing me off.” You know, small stuff. She’s like “take the garbage out!” I’m like “I hate taking the garbage out!” You know what I mean? I’m lucky enough that I work in a job where I can take that out on someone. I can take that out on, a lot of people get pissed off with stuff in their day-to-day life, they can’t do nothing about it, you know what I mean? Me? I get to take it out on Benoit Saint-Denis on Sunday. Unlucky, mate. You’re a nice bloke, but we gotta bash you.”
This was immediately followed by Dan’s daughter chanting “Bash him! Bash him! Bash him!” I think she gets that wildness from her father!
UFC 325 kicks off at 5PM ET for the prelims and is live on Paramount+ in the United States for the entire card.
