UFC 324 went down tonight in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a rare instance, during Ateba Gautier vs. Andrey Pulyaev, referee Mark Smith who was the assigned referee for the fight, tore his ACL.
it’s unclear exactly when in the bout he tore his ACL, but following the event, Dana White confirmed on the post-fight press conference that Mark Smith did indeed tear his ACL. Fan video footage showed Mark being carried out following the bout.
