Themba Gorimbo: Nobody in Zimbabwe Supported Me, Including My Own Family,

UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo opened up about his family recently.

During a sitdown interview with host Larry Madowo of CNN’s African Voices. UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo spoke about the recent decisions he had to make involving his family and friends back home.

From being brought to the UFC to scoring a massive knockout that earned him a house from the likes of Dwayne Johnson. Gorimbo opened up about how as of late, he had to cut off those around him for not supporting his dreams of being in the sport of MMA.

“I don’t talk to any of my family members anymore. I’ve cut all of my family members off the phone. I blocked them, I love them from far, I don’t belong to Zimbabwe.”Gorimbo said to Madowo

Gorimbo last fought this past November in a losing effort to Jeremiah Wells. There has been no word yet on when we will see Gorimbo fight in the new year, but that could be changed very soon.
