Leila Grey has a long road to recovery.
Injury Update
On the December 6, 2025 episode of AEW Collision, AEW star Leila Grey suffered an injury in her match against Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. In the match, Leila sadly tore her ACL in the match in what she described as “something as simple as stepping forward.”
Leila took to social media to share a video where she thanked the fans for support and showed the exact moment in the match where the injury happened. Leila also revealed that she met with a surgeon and since she still can’t properly extend her knee, she will have to do more rehab before they’ll do surgery.
Here’s a little update for you guys on my recovery and where I’m at currently. Also a look into the exact moment in my match when I tore my ACL. I didn’t get a chance to mention it in my video, but also a huge thank you to @aew They’ve been there for me every step of the way
Grey knows she has a long road ahead, but remains positive. We wish Leila Grey the best in her recovery and hope that everything goes well.
