Trey Miguel No Longer Under Contract
Last week, big news broke in the wrestling world that All four of The Rascalz have left TNA and signed with AEW. Originally, Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed all became “All Elite.” But, on Saturday’s collision, while the Rascalz showed up in a backstage segment, Trey Miguel was not there.
Today, Trey took to instagram to reveal that he’s taking a break from pro wrestling and now, Fightful Select has reported that Trey Miguel has been released from his AEW contract less than a week from the signing announcement.
”Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp was able to confirm that Miguel had been released from his AEW contract in the last few days.
Trey Miguel’s deal with TNA expired at the end of 2025, and he was signed to AEW along with Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed. He ended up being released just over a week after that.
Miguel was absent from the January 17 episode of AEW Collision that featured the Rascalz, and Fightful Select reported he was not backstage on January 14 when it was filmed. It was reiterated that all four Rascalz had originally been signed by the company.
We were not provided a reason for the release, outside of AEW remaining on amicable terms with him.
The four members of the Rascalz finally all reunited on TNA TV towards the end of 2025. Miguel has been with TNA since 2018, and was not signed to WWE along with Wentz and Xavier in the following years. He did go on to work a number of matches for WWE NXT in 2024 and 2025.”
