Is Conor back?

Conor McGregor’s UFC Contract

Conor McGregor has not been seen in a UFC octagon since 2021 at UFC 264 where he lost to Dustin Poirier due to leg injury. Despite that, Conor has been under contract with the UFC this whole time, or has he?

While playing Roblox with his son, Conor was on stream with streamer caylusq and revealed that he actually is in negotiations with the UFC right now due to a voided contract. He explained that he used to have a contract based on Pay-Per-View points, but with the Paramount+ deal, that’s no more.

“They’ve got a new deal with Paramount… and my contract essentially is void right now because there’s no more PPV whereas my contract was based on PPV sales.

I’m the highest generating PPV fighter of all time. The PPV system is done. I’m due a new contract. So we’re going into negotiations in February and I’m very interested to see how it goes.”

It’s still unknown when we could see McGregor back in the octagon, but, he seems very set on being apart of UFC’s White House event in the summer. We’ll keep you updated.
