Booker T On Roxanne Perez: Whatever Role You Give Her, She’s Going To Be Able To Adapt And Play That Role

Booker T was the latest guest on Muscle Memory. They discussed a number of topics and one of those topics was Roxanne Perez.

Below is what Booker T had to say about Roxanne Perez:

“She’s been trained properly. She really has. At the end of her run at NXT, she would have her matches and she would always ask me, ‘what did you see?’ It got to the point where I couldn’t critique her anymore. Not that she had figured everything out but she had figured it out to the point where I knew even if it was something that she needed to figure out, she would figure it out. She’s like her own teacher now. And the thing is, I see that because I was that way. I got to a point to where I could actually teach myself. She’s not the biggest dog in the fight, you know, but like Shawn Michaels, she projects so much bigger. Whatever role you give her, she’s going to be able to adapt and play that role. Being adaptable in this business is so important. For her size, you don’t even see it. All you see is she’s really good. And that’s what young people really need to hone in on. They shouldn’t chase titles or anything like that. They should chase being the best in the locker room because if you’re the best in the locker room then all of the other stuff just happens for you.”
