TNA crowned Mike Santana as the new TNA World champion when he defeated Frankie Kazarian tonight.
Shortly after the broadcast of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! On AMC ended, Nemeth came out with his Call Your Shot trophy in an attempt to cash it in. Santana came out of the ring and met him on the outside before Nemeth was able to cash in. Both men attacked each other and then were split up by security. Santino Marella came down to ringside to sort it out. Frankie told Santino that he’s using his contractual rematch for Genesis.
Santino made the official announcement to both men that it will be a Texas Death Match.
Just then, the new Director of Operations, “The Suit” Daria Rae came out from the back. She made Nic Nemeth the special guest referee for the match.
The match was made official.
Earlier today, Nic Nemeth revealed that he’s officially signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.
