TNA Act Leaving The Company
The iinspiration, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, are now the former TNA Knockouts tag team champions after losing the titles just minutes ago to The Elegance Brand on TNA iMPACT’s debut episode on AMC. Now, Fightful Select has broken the news that the now former champs are leaving the company.
Fightful Select noted; “Back in October, Fightful Select reported that Cassie Lee and Jess McKay, The IInspiration, saw their deals with TNA expire despite winning the Knockouts tag team titles. Now, the duo have dropped those titles on the debut edition of TNA on AMC, and are set to leave the company. Fightful Select has learned that the duo did not sign new contracts after signing a series of short-term deals with TNA. We’re told that they were open to remaining with TNA, but ended up opting to finish up after this week. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp is told there is interest in the team outside TNA.”
Cassie and Jessie, formerly known as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, are also former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after a long stint with the company. We will continue to update on where they end up next.
