Paddy Pimblett: I Don’t See Justin Gaethje Fighting Again After I Beat Him At UFC 324
Paddy Pimblett has strong words for her opponent when they clash for gold to kick off the Paramount era.
As both men prepare for the biggest fight of their careers at this current stage, Paddy Pimblett has been on a press tour that has infuriated opponents and has created planned promises that Pimblett wants to ensure happens on January 24th at UFC 324.
During a sitdown interview with ESPN UK, Pimblett responded to a question about Justin Gaethje where he says he will more than likely be the last opponent of Gaethje’s career because he plans on finishing the former interim Lightweight Champion and moving on to fight Ilia Topuria in the later future.
In the meanwhile, Pimblett has been involved in a war of words with the likes of Dan Hooker, Topuria, and many others over his recent comments towards Hooker.
Rumors came out that Gaethje was suffering from a staph infection, with the challenger claiming it was nothing to worry about as nothing was wrong with him, he says.
The two will main event UFC 324 on January 24th for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship. The co-main event will now be filled by Sean O’Malley vs Song Yadong, following the pullout from Kayla Harrison, the current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, who was set to battle the returning Amanda Nunes.
