Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is back!

Canelo Alvarez (63-3-2) will step back into the boxing ring on September 12 for what is sure to be a massive card in Riyadh. Today, Canelo, alongside Turki Alalshikh, posted a video announcing that Canelo will return in September against a yet to be named opponent in a card that is being billed as “Mexico vs. The World.”
Turki says the card will be under Canelo Promotions for the first time, and it’ll be all the fighters from Team Canelo versus the world. You can see the video below.

Canelo Alvarez has not fought since his mega-fight against Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford in September of 2025, where he lost by Unanimous Decision. Alvarez is looking to bounce back and get a win for 2026. We will keep you updated on all the details and opponents surrounding the fight card. Stay tuned.
